Bendy alone at home
                       


As an ongoing project at the courtyard of the Piet Zwart Institute. In addition to working in the garden, I have built a pavilion structure out of wooden pallets. The image above shows an earlier stage of the

project with "Bendy" – a figurative collage from different pieces of worn out clothing – caught

in a cage. The pavilion structure includes a painted solar panel, water collector and some

planting and sanitary devices. The material is sourced from the urban surroundings and reused

for the next level of development. Here’s more on the development of the research cage:
