Der Riecher was published first in 1998 - then with Dr. asp. Simon Fresh as a Co-Editor. Since 2002 the newspaper is on its own and made public more regular in the last two decades. Around 200 issues are published each year. They in most cases exist of 2 DIN A4 sheets that are folded into each other so it becomes a four pages mini- newspaper. It is then being published online here:
